A tiny map game where virtual heroes walk on real routes.
How does it work?
Pick a start and a finish on the map. A route is built and your hero sets off. You can always change the route. After you finish a leg, a new route is built automatically.
How fast does the hero walk?
When do I see other heroes on the map?
What is the route window on the map?
Example: gray dashed line shows the recently passed part, green line shows the short segment ahead.
What does Friends do?
In your profile, Friends lets you invite a registered player by email, see incoming and outgoing requests, and remove someone from your list. Friendship is mutual: the other person must accept (or two cross-requests become friends automatically). You can also send a request from another hero’s card on the map. Outgoing requests are limited per day; after a decline you must wait one day before asking the same person again. Friends stay on the map even outside the usual visibility radius.
What is Home?
The Home item in your profile appears on hero day 2 — after the first night (local midnight at the hero’s place). Pick a point on the map and confirm: your hero walks there, and home is saved only on arrival. You can move it at most once every 30 days. After home is set, Achievements and Quests unlock. Other players’ homes show for signed-in users in the same visibility radius as heroes (by home coordinates). Without Telegram for too long, home and progress may stay locked until you link the bot in Settings.
How does the ferry work?
Ferries move your hero between ports on a schedule. Unlock at hero day 11 and 500 km walked. Ports appear near the hero; until unlocked they stay locked on the map. Unlock grants trip credits, then more over time (capped). Walk to the pier, board, and wait for departure — a trip is spent when the ship sails. You can cancel only before departure; you cannot leave mid-voyage.
How do I link Telegram?
Register on the site, then open Profile → Settings → Telegram → Link. You get a 6-digit code (or a bot link): open the bot in a private chat and send the code. The @WebWalks channel is for news only — linking does not happen in the channel. Telegram is required for friends, password reset, and some features after a few days.
How do airports work?
Scheduled airports appear within 200 km of the hero. Unlock at hero day 11 and 200 km walked. Walk to the hub (within 5 km); flights are not available yet.
